A Century of Art
Sylvia Randolph celebrated her 100th birthday in 2005. She has been painting in oil and watercolor since the 1920's. Sylvia graduated from the University of Illinois in 1927 and taught high school for 14 years. She has also studied painting at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago and at Ox-bow in Saugatuck. In addition to her career as a painter, Sylvia has written and illustrated a cookbook of her own recipes, "Sylvia's Sunday Dinners". The cookbook contains Sunday dinner recipes for a whole year and is illustrated with Sylvia's original paintings.
