An American Painter

Christine Marcus Stone is a well established American artist whose work is collected by museums, corporations, and private individuals.  Stone has painted professionally since 1985.  Known for her realistic paintings of animals her work has been commissioned by Anheuser Busch, Inc., The Belgian Horse Corporation of America, The Clydesdale Breeders of the United States, The Percheron Horse Corporation of America, and The United States Horse Shows Association. 

 A diversified painter in her depictions of animals, landscapes and everyday scenes, her paintings are in the following museums:  The Museum of the Horse (Lexington, KY), Michigan State Museum (Lansing, MI), and the Public Museum of Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI).

Stone uses acrylic paints and mediums to create rich, colorful, glossy images.  Subject matter includes cows and chickens, as well as still life, painted with a dramatic sense of light and saturate color palette.
